Entrepreneurship isn’t about having all the answers, but about having the courage to start looking for them.

🧠 Project Overview

SocialBreak is an emotional-wellbeing startup that connects patients with psychologists from any Spanish-speaking country. The goal was to build a young, trustworthy and empathetic brand able to stand out in a growing sector.

From the logo to the app and website, I worked on developing an integrated identity that inspires instant trust and makes mental-health services accessible through user-friendly digital channels. The proposal had to convey calm, closeness and professionalism at every touchpoint.

👨‍💻 My Role

I was involved end-to-end, from the initial brand concept to the full design of the mobile application. Main responsibilities:

Developing the visual identity (logotype, colour palette, typography, imagery, tone of voice)

Investor-focused web design and informative presentation

App architecture, functional definition and user experience (UX)

User-interface design (UI) and prototyping in Figma

🎨 Visual Identity

The logo is based on a circular shape—a symbol of harmony, closeness, and global connection. The curved elements evoke friendliness, and the composition seeks to express dynamism without losing serenity.

The color palette includes purples and blues, supported by soft gradients that convey peace, introspection, and trust. These colors run throughout the entire visual experience of the product, reinforcing the project’s emotional focus.

For the typography, I chose Inter, a versatile, modern, and perfectly legible typeface for digital media, allowing for coherence and scalability across all platforms.

📱 App Design (MVP)

The SocialBreak mobile application was conceived as a Minimum Viable Product (MVP) designed to be iterated on quickly after launch. The goal is to test product hypotheses with real users and progressively adapt the experience, features and business model.

One of the project’s key assets was the diversity of the team, made up of young professionals in areas such as software development, design, legal, business and finance. This combination allowed for well-rounded decisions from multiple angles, enabling a balanced definition of key features aligned with user needs and the product’s technical and economic feasibility.

With clearly defined functionalities, I began designing a series of mid-to-high-fidelity wireframes. The goal of this phase is clear: fail fast and cheap. That means validating structures, flows, visual hierarchies and copy as early as possible before investing in final design and development.

The project is currently in this initial validation phase, focusing on:

· Evaluating comprehension and usability of the main flow: onboarding, psychologist selection and session booking.

· Refining the navigation structure and microcopy

· Establishing visual patterns consistent with the developed identity

The approach is iterative and deliberate: learn fast, adjust, and build a product that evolves based on real data and qualitative feedback.

💻 Investor Website

SocialBreak is currently in development and seeking investments. At this stage, the most important “clients” are the investors interested in joining the project. For this purpose, an interactive and dynamic document is key—one that explains the app clearly and commercially from a business functionality perspective.

The website also acts as a connector between investors and the SocialBreak team, offering different contact options such as video calls or email. Finally, it includes a pitch deck for those more deeply interested in the business. You can find the website at mysocialbreak.com

📚 Personal Reflection

SocialBreak is a project where I can combine strategy, identity and product in a single workflow. It allows me not only to design but to envision the brand as a living, scalable organism capable of adapting to users and stakeholders without losing coherence. It's an experience that strengthens my interest in projects where design drives real business decisions.

On a personal level, this is a project I’m deeply fond of—because of the people I’m working with and the trust they’ve placed in me from day one.
